About Me:

My research falls in the field of multimedia, data mining and machine learning. I'm interested in exploring and exploiting the UGC (User-Generated Content) in social media services for both multimedia understanding and user modeling. The very recent works focus on cross-OSN data mining and applications, i.e., to connect the isolated social media data in different OSNs (Online Social Network). I has authored one book, co-authored 60+ papers in journals and conferences like TIST, TMM, TOMM, ACM Multimedia, ICMR, CIKM, etc.



I am associate editor in Neurocomputing, KSII TIIS, (leading) guest editor in Multimedia System Journal, Multimedia Tools and Applications. I have served as program co-chair in PCM 2015, ICIMCS 2015, publicity chair in MMM 2015, publication chair in ICIMCS 2013, 2014, special session organizer in ICME2015, MMM2013, ICIMCS 2013, and program committee member in 10+ conferences (MM2013, MM2014, CIKM2014, etc.). I am tutorial speaker at ACM Multimedia (2014&2015), ACM ICMR 2015, ICME 2015 and MMM 2015. I am member of IEEE, ACM and CCF.

[2015-12]   The dataset of CrossOSN-U is released: cross-OSN data mining and application based on overlapped users. [link]

[2015-11]   I gave a tutorial on Cross-OSN Social Multimedia Computing at ACM Multimedia 2015. [slide]
